Beyond the Las Vegas Strip

Get ready…NCS is heading to Las Vegas!

Elvis Presley summed it up perfectly when he said, “Viva Las Vegas!” The most famous desert oasis in the world is the perfect place for the 2014 Mortgage Banker Association’s Annual Convention & Expo. After you finish meeting vendors and exploring the massive space for this year’s venue, many of you are looking forward to unwinding and getting to know this famous city.

Sinatra and the Rat Pack, Elvis, Siegfried and Roy, Celine Dion, Wayne Newton – all are synonymous with Vegas and the strip.  However, the greater Las Vegas area has a great deal to offer in natural attractions, tours and exciting activities outside of the Casino floor and NCS is here to guide you to the best and brightest attractions available!

If you’re able to fly in early or stay late, it’s certainly worth the effort to see the attractions and excitement Vegas and the surrounding areas have to offer.
And if ever in doubt, just remember Sinatra…

Lake Mead

Created through the construction of the Hoover Dam, and just a half hour from Las Vegas by car, Lake Mead is home to a National Park with a variety of activities to participate in. It is a natural beauty, especially as it winds into the canyon where it meets the Hoover Dam.  Whether you want to take a quick walk, do water activities, or just get a glimpse of the lake from many of the spectacular views, Lake Mead is a perfect place to clear your head and get away from the busy streets of Las Vegas.

Hoover Dam

Incredibly fascinating, this historic landmark should be on your list to check out while you’re in Nevada. 35 miles south of Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam still attracts more than a million visitors every year. Built, in large part during the Depression, the Hoover Dam was an engineering marvel of its time and still evokes “ohhs and ahhs” the first time it’s viewed.  If you’re interested in our country’s history, this is a must see attraction.

Need for Speed

Talk about excitement!  Lamborghinis, Rolls Royces, Ferraris and other exotics are available to you through the many exotic automobile rental agencies in Las Vegas.  And don’t worry about renting for a full day as many of the agencies have partial day rentals available so you can pack your fun into a 9-hour window!

The surrounding Vegas area has great roads to explore, and are perfect for putting the “pedal to the metal”.  Click the link below for a Google search for “Las Vegas, NV exotic automobile rental”.
